How it started ....

Andrew: Our story started in 2022 in Ninove (East Flanders), where we had a popup bar with Champagne, wine and oysters. This every Sunday. Since we are huge fans of 'Allo 'Allo we didn't have to look that far for a name and concept: "Café René". 

Tim: Liedekerke, the town next to Ninove was interested in our concept and asked us to open every Saturday during the weekly market.

This was 2022 and 2023, and then .... we found a beautiful building in Borgloon!
